Alliance Française de Newcastle
The Newcastle French Fridays movie nights are organised by the Alliance Française de Newcastle in partnership with the Event Cinemas Kotara.
The Alliance Française de Newcastle (AFN) is an Australian non-profit association dedicated to the promotion of the French language and culture.
It's where Francophones meet in Newcastle to learn French. Thanks to the Committee and the teachers’ enthusiasm and hard work, the AFN provides classes for adults at all levels, teenagers, children and HSC students.
The AFN also organises social events such as the Café Blabla, where Francophiles meet and chat in French.
In addition to the French Fridays, the AFN also organises the Newcastle French Film Festival which will take place at the Event Cinemas Kotara on 24, 25 and 26 May 2019.
